Just realized this....

   Have you ever been in this condition? There so many things to do, that haunted your mind from the moment you wake up until the moment you sleep and yet, you have no motivation to do them. I have been in this situation starting a week ago and I just realized this might what being in a slump means.

  When your work is piling and its not going smoothly, I think its normal to be stressed out. But its a bad thing if you are pushing yourself too hard. It makes you feel much more guilty towards yourself. I was wondering myself how come I have no inspiration at all to do my work. Whether my research project or my sewing project. Sewing and needlework are suppose to be fun not stressful. This is really bad. My self-esteem was dropping. Think positively was almost impossible. I was really freak out since my performance did not match my expectation. Worrying too much is bad for health and it won't get me anywhere. Perhaps it will be good if I loosen up myself a bit.

 I think I'll sit back and try to relax today. Sort my mind... Read some books.. Get nourish sleep... and wake up tomorrow feeling energetic and motivated. Anyway, all the best to me.

Crochet

I can sew, I can embroider but I can't do crochet. It seem like crochet and me doesn't share the same chemistry.... What makes crochet difficult?

Yesterday I went to Popular bookstore, and a crochet book caught my eyes......
"Ah... If only I know how to do this, it will wonderful". After holding the book for several minutes... I bought the book.. I'm so happy......Just looking at it makes me smile.. By going through the pages, it excites me.... Just like love.... Huhuhu...

Along with new look and motivation, I've decided to try to learn crochet once again and hopefully it will be successful. I can't help feeling so excited... My friend and I plan to go and buy the yarn and hook this evening after 'work'.

New Look, New motivation

I've change the blog title. I'm not a housewife (you can't be a housewife if you aren't married yet).
Last time, I said I will post my sewing projects here but just ended up post only two of them. So, with new look and motivation, I plan to post whatever I do that I think is interesting to post here, be it sewing, cooking, gardening or anything interest me.... hopefully  this motivation last longer than last time (I really hope that will happen)

SQUARE WORLD !!!!!

These pillowcase are sewn a month ago. But they haven't been used. The reason I made them is because my mum complain that that we do not have enough pillowcase at home. 

This is a set curtain that I sewn to cover the windows.

If you notice, most of the patchwork projects are square and rectangle. Due to my laziness and time constrain, I came out with the ideas to fully utilize square shape. For patchwork beginners, its easy to start with square. Square patchworks are easy and the pattern mostly depends on colour arrangement.

I've created this blog since a year ago but I didn't post anything.

Finally, I've made my mind to post something here.

From today onwards, I'll post my sewing project here... :)
